Child Group Home

Child group homes in most cases qualify for funding for the meals they serve much like a Residential Child Care Institution. Most child group homes are more family based, rather than institution based while providing therapeutic care. These types of facilities may also be called transitional housing facilities for youth. Another type of child group home may be called a Small Family Home. *Regardless of the name as long as they are licensed by an approved State agency, have a 501c3 letter from the IRS, and provide service to minors funding benefits may accrue to these agencies.

To find your level of funding, click the "calculate funding" button....

*Foster homes, Foster Family Agencies, Child Placing Agencies, and Child Adoption Agencies do not qualify.
