State Preschool

A State Preschool in most cases automatically qualifies to participate in the Food Reimbursement Programs. These programs offer three hours daily of early childhood education and school readiness. Families that enroll their children in State Preschool must demonstrate economic need. The Food Reimbursement Programs tie in by providing nutritious meals to these pre-qualified children. State Preschools are certified by the State Department of Education for the curriculum, they are licensed by an approved State Agency or greater, and they are tax exempt under IRS code 501c3.
